6 New Web Screens Now Available
Sage is committed to delivering a rewarding user experience in their desktop and web versions, which is why they have added 6 new web screens to streamline tasks on the web version. (Available only in Sage 300 2021 subscription.)
General Ledger (GL) Screens
- Account History Inquiry helps you gain understanding of your GL accounts over time by displaying changes in actual and quantity information for GL accounts in prior years, along with total quantity and total net change.
- Budget Maintenance helps you easily enter and display budget information for GL accounts.
- Source Currency Inquiry makes it easy to understand the numbers behind international transactions, with source currency and functional currency account balances on a multicurrency account.
Accounts Receivable (AR) Screens
- Receipt Inquiry ensures that your staff can quickly and easily look up AR receipts.
- Refund Inquiry simplifies the accounting process by providing a fast lookup for refunds.
Admin Screen
- Users streamlines the user admin process with a handy way to add and manage user records with ease.
In addition, many web screens now feature a redesigned Finder, which improves filtering and makes it easier and faster to navigate through large result sets to find the exact data you are looking for. (A new keyboard shortcut of Alt + Down Arrow opens Finder immediately.)
Easier Report Printing
In Sage 300 2021 update 2, you can now save time in your report printing process. This new version empowers you to print direct to a file, instead of having to first preview the report in the SAP Crystal Reports viewer. (Available only in Sage 300 subscription.)
Note: The new report printing process does not affect customized Crystal Reports opened through the Reports list.
Restored Functionality for Visual Process Flows
Missing those Visual Process Flows? We hear you. After the retirement of Adobe Flash, the Sage developers worked hard to determine an alternate way of restoring this handy tool in Sage 300 – and now it is here.
Due to development differences, the process has changed slightly, but we are sure you will enjoy your renewed ability to create and customize those time-saving workflows.
Faster Navigation with Keyboard Shortcuts
We already mentioned the Alt + Down Arrow keyboard shortcut that opens Finder and makes filtering a snap in Sage 300 2021 update 2.
Additionally, Sage has now included a handy Esc key shortcut that will close Finder, pop-up screens, and messages. This helps you focus — quickly — on what really matters in your work.
